  I have been using a 20% C product from my dermatologist for a couple of years now and it really works in whitening/brightening my skin and stimulating all of the good stuff. However, it has a chemical-like smell, and it lacks the wonderful natural elements that are infused throughout Yonka's line. I have been using Yonka for decades, and have written several times to their customer service begging them to launch a high quality, shelf stable 20% C serum. I bought it as soon as it launched, and, a few months later, can only report sheer joy over using this product! Total quality. Yes, it's pricey, but, from a sheer efficacy perspective, you can't go wrong. Worth it! Plus a little goes a long way. I find I no longer need a moisturizer when I use this - just wash with the Yonka milk cleanser, spray with the Lotion Yonka, and then put this one. Every morning, warm 6 - 8 drops in your hands. Inhale the invigorating, energizing scent and apply with light motions on a clean face and neck.

Ideally, you would like to use after Yon-Ka Lotion (apply to skin still damp from the lotion to lock in hydration).

For those with oily skin, warm 4 drops of this invigorating serum in your hands before applying it to the face.

As I am somewhat of a vitamin C serum fanatic, I was extremely pleased to have the opportunity to test the YONKA intensive serum C20. I spent the majority of my younger years baking in the sun often using no SPF while lying out for many hours. My goal was always to have the darkest tan possible, particularly on my face. As a result, as my skin has matured, I am now left with multiple areas of melasma and hyperpigmentation, enlarged pores, and severe textural irregularities. I have also been blessed by a oily facial complexion which is prone to hormonal breakouts. With all of these features, I have found that vitamin C in conjunction with retinol, are the most effective treatments to help lessen or eradicate the spots, wrinkles, and other various sun induced signs of aging. I was impressed by the strength and potency of this particular intensive serum, and was pleased to note that within only a week or so, my pores appeared less obvious and tightened, my areas of darkest hyperpigmentation were faded, and my overall complexion seemed to be more even in both color and appearance. This is a light serum that is easy to apply via the dropper tip and it did not leave a sticky or heavy residue. I followed its application with my normal daytime and nighttime moisturizers and felt that the above evident results were quite impressive. After about five days of use, I felt a noticeable difference in my skin's firmness and overall tone. I saw slightly less wrinkles overall and my skin looked fresh and even toned. My skin has never looked better since using this serum. This serum does exactly as it claims unlike alot of skincare. My pore size has shrink drastically, the dark sun spots on my face are almost gone and have faced so much, my skin is radiant and glowing all the time and even my wrinkles a have gotten more shallow. This serum isn't super sticky and sits well under other products. This serum is moisturizing and just the absolute perfect addition to my skincare routine!

When I first apply it, I feel like the product felt like it wasn’t being absorbed by my skin. I would say 3 drops is enough to cover your whole face. I had to learn this the hard way! If you use too much it just doesn’t go into your skin enough and that is just a waste. My skin approved while using this. I had this one fine line on my forehead that is now gone. COINCIDENCE? I think not.I would 100% recommend this to everyone who wants to stop their skin from looking ancient.

No joke, this has got to be the most amazing skin care product I have ever tried. So many products promise results you never see, but Yon-Ka Paris Serum C20 really delivered!! I use it twice a day in my skincare routine and in just a few days there was a noticable difference to my skin!! The smell is amazing and became my favorite part of waking up! I love that just 6-8 drops is all you need and it's so soft and luxurious and spreads so well. You can so do touch ups throughout the day but I never needed to, my skin looks amazing! I was worried about it leaving my face oily or making me break out but I am truly amazed how my skin looks after ten days of using it twice a day. My aging skin was getting dry and losing radiance, something I never thought I could get back. Yon-Ka Paris saved my skin and I am addicted to this serum C20! It's a little pricey but that due to the rare ingredients and it is a woman owned company shipping from Australia. Given all of that and seeing first hand the amazing results I got, I will absolutely be buying the biggest bottle I can as soon as this hits stores. Having used several popular Vitamin C serums in the past, I was excited to try this offering from Yon-Ka Paris. The formula is a perfect weight, heavy enough to apply without drips but smooth and thin enough to spread evenly while conserving product. I tend to use a Vitamin C in the morning on clean skin, either as a first step or directly after a hydrating mist. After allowing it to absorb, I follow with a light moisturizer and an SPF. The Serum C20 absorbs quickly and other products layer over it beautifully. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that there are a number of similar products on the market. While most sell for a similar price, I have recently discovered a couple options at a lower price point that seem to work as well (or almost so). I have used this for only about a month, so it's also hard to say what the doing-term brightening benefits could be.
